Wondering historical Leuven

At ONE - we’re wonders [/“ONE-ders”/], and there’s nothing better than wondering together.

Just a few weeks after I joined ONE, I had the chance to take part in our city break to Leuven. It was the perfect opportunity to get to know everyone outside the office, and what a start it was!

We all arrived in Leuven around lunch time and started with sharing (not so local but delicious) bao buns. Since most of us were able to join with partners, it was also a great opportunity to meet and catch up.

Then, we spent the day discovering Leuven’s best spots, guided by a local who clearly loved the city and sharing knowledge about its history. Between her funny stories, we tasted banana liqueur, local cheeses and whiskey-brewed beer paired with intruiging belgian pralines. All unexpected combinations, but somehow, they worked.
